I know i've put up alot of cat pics lately, but really, these last 3 are NOT the same cat. this is my cat, and she was sitting in the magic hour sunlight, and i was trying to catch the light in her eyes, but she yawned instead, the light going right in her mouth!!
i couldn't resist. i think i only have one more cat pic left, then i'm done for awhile on cats.

Inner Beast is the title I thought of! I was at the zoo the other day and watching the tigers, couldn't believe how similar the tigers and domestic cats are in the general behavior. I read an article back in college that said cats have never been truly domesticated. They maintain more of their primal instincts than other pets and if placed back on their own in the wild, have the highest percentage of survivability. You really caught that in this shot. The highlight of the image being in the "roar" - I mean look at those teeth. The stark contrast adds to it all. I see her on the next MGM film intro.
